Registered Nurse (RN) – General Medical Units

Peoria, IL | Full-Time | Permanent, Direct Hire, Full Time

Join a nationally recognized 600-bed Level I Trauma and Magnet®-designated hospital that serves as a major academic teaching facility affiliated with the University of Illinois College of Medicine. This organization is a consistent recipient of quality and patient safety awards and is known for its commitment to professional development, nurse-led initiatives, and top-tier patient care.

We are hiring full-time RNs across multiple general medical units. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your clinical skills in a supportive environment with strong nurse-to-patient ratios and the ability to participate in a clinical ladder advancement program.

Available Units Include:

  • Acute Care – Sepsis, CHF, elderly falls, comfort care
  • Neuro Med Surg – Stroke, seizures, spine surgery
  • Medical Acute Care – Broad-spectrum medical conditions
  • Med Surg (AMSU) – Diabetes, respiratory failure, behavioral health
  • Nephrology – Dialysis, kidney transplants, urological procedures
  • Ortho – Post-op trauma, fracture care
  • Surgical Acute – Trauma recovery, wound care, TPN
  • Telemetry – Cardiac monitoring, A-fib, MI, chest tubes
  • ICU – Intensive Care Unit

Pay & Incentives:

  • Base Rate: $32.61–$49.28/hr (DOE)
  • Sign-On Bonus:
  • • New Grads: Up to $12,500
  • • Experienced RNs: Up to $20,000
  • Differentials:
  • • Nights: +$4.00/hr
  • • Weekends: +$3.25/hr
  • Relocation assistance available (discussed during HR call)

Schedule & Shifts:

  • 36 hours/week, full-time
  • Self-scheduling available
  • Day, evening, or night shifts
  • Weekend requirements discussed during HR screening
  • Start dates offered every two weeks

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in Illinois or compact state
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
